Owyhee Wild Horse Roundup and Laura Leigh's First Amendment Rights

The Owyhee wild horses are being rounded up today in 100+ weather. Judge Hicks lifted the TRO but granted Laura Leigh (Herd Watch) her First Amendment rights by allowing her to observe the roundup. Not an enviable task, but I couldn't imagine a better person for the job. Many advocates hope that Laura's presence as an outside observer will halt some of the inhumane treatment of the horses during the roundup. I wish this writer could be as optimistic.

Judge Hicks lifted the TRO after the BLM convinced him that the horses would die of dehydration if something wasn't done immediately.  Of course, the BLM, due to their tremendous concern for the welfare of these horses will supply the water after they brutally run them, tiny foals and mares included, in 100+ weather by helicopters, and further dehydrate and stress these animals beyond endurance. How ludicrous is this line of thinking?
